A paper bag for your Thanksgiving turkey, is one of the best craft ideas that feature a very easy and inexpensive item to make. To do this, you will need:
Brown paper bag
Old newspaper or paper scraps
Rubber band
Red felt
Permanent marker or Wiggly eyes if available
A pair of scissors
Glue
Red, Orange, Yellow construction paper
When you have everything ready, just follow these simple steps:
1. For the turkey’s head, make a small ball of newspapers or paper scraps.
2. Put the balled scraps inside the paper bag.
3. Twist the paper bag to seal the paper scraps and to make a neck for the turkey.
4. Draw the turkey eyes with permanent market or glue the wiggly eyes
5. Cut out a small red felt paper for the turkey’s wattle.
6. Get some more paper and make a bigger ball out of it for the turkey’s body.
7. Insert the balled up paper in the remainder of the paper bag earlier. Blow some air for a more cushiony look before you twist the end
8. Seal it with the rubber band.
9. For the tail, cut out half circles from the red, orange and yellow construction papers.
10. Glue the half circles at the back of the turkey
11. Cut out wings from the construction paper
12. You’re done!
