Space Crafts for Kids
Space ship and outer space invites our imagination to the unknown. Just imagine where the idea of space ships and outer space takes our kids’ imagination. Space ship can be awesome. It can let kids experience the thrill of the unknown.
You can come up with various ways to allow kids view the outer space and space crafts as well. This is because the imagination of a young mind is tremendous. You can facilitate activities where in kids are involved. There are a lot of activities that we can come up with to create space crafts for kids. Each of the activities is equally fun from the other.
The activity that we can come up with is to build an image of an outer space. We will need the following. A lettuce, clay toy, color paper, glitters, tooth pick and a small picture of your kid. The picture should have a clear shot of the kids’ face. Moon is not a flat surface. It has a lot of bumps and wrinkles. Lettuce can be a good model of the moon. Let us start. First, model the clay toy into a space ship. Sprinkle the glitters into the space ship afterwards. Use glue if the glitters would not stick. Kids love glitters because they have a different look as compared to a standard coloring material. Then, cut the color paper into the model of a man. You may color the space man if your want. Paste the picture of the kid to the face of the modeled man. Once done, use a tooth pick to embed the space ship into the upper portion of the lettuce. Once the space ship is connected, you will need to connect the paper modeled man into the upper part of the lettuce. You may use a tooth pick as well. You can paste the modeled man to the tooth paste then embed it to the lettuce. You can add a flag by cutting out the paper and form it into a flag, paste it to the tooth pick and embed it to the lettuce. You may color the flag as well. Once done, you already have your personalized image of the moon with the space ship and your astronaut on top of it. It is highly suggested that you involve the kid while working. It will be fun and the kid will surely appreciate working on his or her personalized image of the outer space.
You can do another activity to create space crafts for kids. You can make it simpler as well. Just remember to let the kid take an active participation to the project. You will need the following; a white cartolina, paint and paint brush. That is all you need. Start by covering your cartolina with a dark shaded color. Dart Blue or simply black will do. Then draw small stars. You may use yellow for the small stars. It is fine to get messy. Give your kid a paint brush. Give your kid that sense of authority and allow her or him to explore her or his imagination. You may draw planets and moon. You may explore further and include a comet. Do not forget to include the space crafts. If could be drawn on the moon or simply flying anywhere. That is up to you and your kid. Allow your kid to be in charge. No matter how wild or unrealistic it may be, the important thing is that the kid would be able to let out his or her imagination. The activity is very simple but would guarantee to be very exciting for your kid.
