Felt Toys
There are many simple designs that you can choose from such as ghost, bats, pumpkins, etc.
To make felt toys you need to prepare felt, needle, embroidery thread, toy stuffing and fabric glue.
To decorate your felt toys, you can use different items such as wiggle eyes, buttons, gems, fabric paint, or whatever you have in your arts and crafts box.
First, draw your pattern on a cardboard to make a template. For pumpkins, you can simply draw circles and use orange felt.
For ghosts, you can draw the simple outline of a ghost that you see on cartoon programs and of course, use a white felt.
Trace the patterns on the felt and cut them out. Make a pair for every pattern. Sew the edges together using a simple running stitch. Be sure to leave a small gap so you can stuff the toy. Sew the small gap after stuffing the toy.
Then glue some wiggle eyes or buttons for the face. For the pumpkin felt toy, use green ribbon for the leaves and stem. You can also cut the mouth from a black felt and glue them on the pumpkins’ face.

There are many kinds of lanterns that you can use. For older kids, they can use empty tin cans. First, wash the cans in warm soap water.
Then, use a nail to hammer the design that you want. To avoid the tin cans from collapsing, you can put some water in the can and free it before punching some holes.
When the ice has already melted and the tin cans are already dry, paint the cans with the colors that you like. Glitters can also be added for more design.
Finally, put a tea light inside every tin can. If available, you can also choose to use battery-powered candles.
