Easy Halloween Kids Crafts


Kids love Halloween. There are many fun crafts to have them enjoy the holiday that are easy and require simple supplies. Many household materials can be used to create the ghosts witches pumpkins and spiders. Here are some Halloween craft ideas to entertain any child.
Paper Pumpkins
Materials:
Pumpkin cutouts in orange construction paper
Black construction paper triangles in different sizes
Green construction paper stems
Glue stick
White construction paper
Crayons – optional
Instructions:
Have children glue the pumpkin cutout on the white paper. Let them glue different shaped black triangles for the eyes and mouth or allow them to draw the eyes nose and mouth with crayons. Glue the stem to the top of the pumpkin.
Spiders
Materials:
Black pipe cleaners
Fuzzy craft balls small and large sized
Wiggly eyes
Instructions:
Take three black pipe cleaners. Twist them together in the middle. Pull the different “legs” downward to form the spider. Take one large fuzzy ball to form the body of the spider. Glue body to legs. Glue on the smaller fuzzy ball for the head of the spider to the body. Glue on the wiggly eyes to the head of the spider. Add a black string around the body to hang the spider from the ceiling.
Ghosts
Materials:
12 x 12 white fabric
Styrofoam ball ½” or 5 cotton balls per ghost
White string cut to 1”
Wiggly eyes – 2 per ghost
Black marker to make mouth
Instructions:
Gather white fabric around the Styrofoam ball or cotton balls
Tie white string snugly around the balls inside the material
Add wiggly eyes
Draw circle for mouth or another scary shape
Kids love to be imaginative. Allow them to use their young imagination with any of the crafts. They will think of many ways to make any of the crafts scarier.
