Christmas Craft Ideas for Kids



Christmas is a time not only for giving, but also for crafts. This is the season to be creative! Doing a project with your kids is a good way to spend those cold moments when you have to be indoors.

If you think about it, Christmas craft ideas for kids run by the millions this holiday season. There is the hand made cards, the Christmas tree ornaments, and even the art of wrapping gifts artistically. This last one sounds like the more fun, so this is what we will be doing.

Materials needed for this fun and unique Christmas craft ideas for kids would be:

A gift to wrap
Any piece of paper such as old calendars, magazine and catalogue pages, unused paper bags
Unused cardboard taken from packaging on bought items, such as shoeboxes, cereal boxes, and the like
Pieces of string, ribbons, buttons, knickknacks
Colored pens, paint, and/or crayons
Glue
Tape
scissors

As you might have noticed from the materials needed, this project can be classified under the reuse and recycle file. This is not accidental. After all, what’s the point of making your own gift wrappers if you have to buy the materials anyway?

A good tip would be to save upon these materials before December comes. Collect them in a box labeled “recycled materials for Christmas craft ideas for kids.” That said; let us now go to the suggested instructions:

Put your gift in a matching recycled box. Alternatively, make a right sized box out of the cardboard you have collected

You can decorate right away in the box, or wrap the gift with paper and then decorate
